Imagine a place where hurting people can experience genuine recovery. Mount Horeb House is that place!
Dan & Ann Geroy
These retreats for women are designed to deepen your relationship with the Lord by teaching you how to trust Him more fully, how to build safe and supportive relationships with other women, and how to recognize ways the Lord can (and will) use you as a vessel for pouring His grace into the lives of others. The three day retreats include power point designed teach pieces, many hands-on activities, time for reflection and meditation, interactive discussion times, and games aimed at building relationships. Because of Ann’s background in education, she is especially skillful in designing materials which touch the hearts of women who learn in a variety of ways. Her retreats are lively and upbeat while reflecting a depth of love and relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are interested in scheduling one of these retreats for a group of Christian women, please contact us.
Guided Reflection
"Two girls can build a relationship by working together!"
“Come Dance With Me” is based primarily on the book, Do You Think I’m Beautiful?, by Angela Thomas. The focus of the retreat is learning to truly TRUST the Lord. As women begin to understand that God, alone, can fill their deepest needs and desires, the whole focus of their lives begins to change. Seeing ourselves as the Lord’s “Beloved” is a concept that is there, in the word, but rarely understood or embraced. As the Lord heals our wounded hearts He calls to us, “Come Dance With Me!”
Looking for God in
the creative process
“Two Girls Can” is designed to emphasize the importance of our relationships with other women. If you have a friend you depend on for advice, support and encouragement, you know what a difference she makes in your life. This retreat will include components on developing body, mind and spirit in the company of a friend! For more information, please contact us.

Morning Meditation
Philippians 4:23
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
I Peter 2:24
...and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
I Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
In her book, A Little Pot of Oil, Jill Brisco discusses the true heart of mentoring and discipleship. She has learned the secret of allowing the Lord to flow out of our lives, rather than simply “enduring”, even when we are too weary to go on. The oil cannot flow if we do not have an intimate relationship with the Creator. We are incapable of producing the good deeds of “agape” love on our own. Becoming “a little pot of oil” will be the focal piece of this retreat.
