Come Down to the Potter’s House

Dan makes a presentation while throwing on the potter’s wheel to different church groups and para church organizations.   Emphasis is placed on how God wants to heal our wounded hearts.  As Dan throws pots on the wheel, he incorporates Jeremiah 18:2-3 "Go down to the potter’s house and there I will give you a message.  So I went down to the potter’s house and I saw him working at the wheel.  But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.", and Romans 9:21 "Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use." into the presentation.  Blake McKenzie, Director of Awaken to Life Ministries, often teams with Dan to teach this powerful message.  Blake is a very gifted minister/teacher and dear friend.

During the summer of 2005 the presentation was made once a week for five weeks at a Christian camp called Camp Eagle in Rocksprings, TX.  They presented God’s healing message and the Holy Spirit worked in a most miraculous way.  On one night alone over 200 young people came forward boldly and unashamedly, with tears in their eyes, knelt at the altar and asked God to heal their wounded hearts. That same evening 28 teenagers came to know the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior. The Sprit of God ministered to staff, sponsors and campers for over two hours.  It was a heavenly picture of God’s hand of grace at work in the hearts of men.
